Molodetz collects as little as possible.

Join requests

When you fill in the I'm in form, we keep your name, your contact detail, optionally a link to your work, and your message. We also keep a one-way hash of your IP address to recognise abuse. Only administrators see this. We share it with nobody.

When an admin checks your link, the server fetches the title of that page once. Nothing about you goes to that site except the request itself.

Visits

We count per day how often a path is requested, without IP address or identity. There are no cookies for readers. There are no external scripts, fonts or trackers.

Accounts

Logging in sets an httponly session cookie. We keep your last activity for the online indicator, and an audit log of admin actions.

Deletion

Want your request gone? Ask retoor at retoor@molodetz.nl. Deletion is soft first and permanent after that.
